(My) New iOS

So I made the big leap (well, for me anyway) to the relatively new iOS for my iPhone 4. I know, I know, I’m completely outdated.

Things I’m loving?
Surprisingly enough, the keyboard. I’m not even sure what is different about it.
Also the new flashlight built in thingy. Bye bye old dedicated app for that.
The main reason for updating though, is that now I can update my blog super easily, which will hopefully motivate me more.

Things I dislike?
It feels slower to me, and less responsive to my swiping.
Also, apparently I’ve always swiped my mail the wrong way, and now that way doesn’t work. Frustrating.
Plus it looks ugly.

Now, take all this with a grain of salt. I don’t like my iPhone. I never have. But the Motorola I had before that just didn’t suit me. I’m just not a fancy phone user! This is about as fancy as I’m going to get. And even then, I seem to do my best to kill it.

To put things in perspective, I’ve already completely broken one case, scraped another, and smashed the screen by dropping it on bricks ($70 later…).

Apple, get your act together and make a phone I can’t break!

You should use Mailbox instead of the default Mail app. It’s a huge improvement. 🙂 http://www.mailboxapp.com/ Gmail and Outlook also have native apps.
